HIYA!

made a quick vlog to make up for not blogging for so long! i have lots to blog about but right now just waaay too busy tryna get settled back into perth :) i'm a bit dopey and messy coz i'm so tired aha! note: i find it funny how i was hugging my pillows and referred to them as 'babies' and then threw them away :o)

i'm very lucky to be heading out on another road trip this weekend with my hombres! so incredibly stoked :) it's really great being back in perth, 2 months in singapore is a longggg time.

ONE

i cannot do cling wrap.

i dislike it when mom tells me to wrap up the food before popping it into the fridge coz that means i have to use cling wrap. i always end up cutting myself on the sharp/sometimes blunt BUT still lethal edge. it NEVER works for me so i always end up looking incredibly stupid. i resort to using scissors instead - the 'why is she using scissors to get a sheet of cling wrap?' look is 10 times better than the 'what kind of dickhead can't rip a sheet of cling wrap?' look.

TWO

my favourite actress is kristen bell.

love kristen since her veronica mars days to the love interest beside josh duhamel in when in rome to her small role in heroes to the hilarious forgetting sarah marshall to the dorky you again and to the incredibly sexy brunette bombshell in burlesque next to xtina! and now finally another reason why i should love her -- coz she's hilarious! i love this video of her -- she's this quirky and incredibly witty in all her interview videos as well! awesome personality & stunning character - i'd love to meet her one day.

THREE

i am actually very aggressive & confronting in nature.

you will find me punching darryl various times during the day. he is my punching bag.. really. we both decided i should invest in a real punching bag instead :) i get easily irritated and taking to offence of comments made which had lead to me yelling and getting into a fight! there has been many occasions where my toes get stepped on and the rest is history. ask my friends ha! BUT i am capable of calm verbal arguments, in fact i like to argue my point of view a lot. never thought happy gwen would be aggro gwen right?

FOUR

i can sleep through anything but i can hear people around me.

i once slept through a room full of 7 women during a chinese new year house visiting blabbing on about their life stories. whilst sleeping i even heard someone say, 'wow i can't believe she can sleep through all this noise!' i also slept through a room full of boys playing fifa 12. they sat around me as i slept AND once again i heard my cousin commenting on how i can sleep through the ongoing fifa game + rowdy boys. whilst i was sleeping. why i can hear what people say whilst i'm unconscious is a weird thing.. and i'm way too concussed to wake up & tell them i can hear them! it's like the noise is comforting.. odd.

FIVE

people ALWAYS step on my feet.

this is no joke. it's like nobody sees my feet! someone will always trip over my feet or step on them or kick them or trip me!!! it makes me so angry! this always happens whether my feet were in the way or not -- always. it's the story of my life whether someone's stepping on my thongs or losing their step & kicking me instead. this happened so many times i recall crying over it coz i was so upset that one day where everyone kept kicking/stepping my feet ;(

errr so i've been crazy busy that i haven't been updating ze blog.. my bad.

i'm at my uncle's house in choa chu kang.. we just paid our respects to my grandparents at the columbarium. i find it so difficult to explain how i feel about paying my respect to my granddad specifically.. i feel uncomfortable that he is reduced to a picture and it is through a picture that i talk to..

i miss him, i do. and i think it's too soon, way too soon, because everytime someone talks about him, or i see a picture of him i just want to cry. so imagine me at the columbarium.. a mess.

my parents haven't been there before so it's quite exciting :) so lucky that my dad's friend has booked a night there & invited us to join them for a swim & to stay the night!! the last time i went to MBS was with jess and it was AWESOME!!!!! i'm very excited to check it out again :)

it's the most creepy and weird feeling ever.. i freaked out haha! it was all soft and felt like a nipple really hahahahaha!! when i ran my hand over her belly button i literally jumped back in shock coz it was the weirdest feeling haha. something to think about :P

chinese new year has been awesome! lots of food, family and fun :) guess what i did...

i got my ear pierced!!

actually i got 3 piercings.. i repierced my second earhole coz lazy gwen was lazy and didn't put on any earrings and so it closed up :( but i've wanted my helix piercing just that i was too chicken to get it! i was told horror stories that cartilage piercings hurt the MOST out of all piercings coz it was bone so i wussed out when i had the chance.. and denise kept going on about how it hurt as well!!

but i kept thinking about it the next day & decided to do it.

and guess what?

it didn't hurt -.-

she used a gun & it was so quick & painless! i expected me to be writhing on the floor passed out or something haha! but i do think my pain tolerance is quite high.. i had my belly pierced when i was about 14/15 years old & i don't remember the pain so i'm assuming that there wasn't any to begin with.. haha.

and then the lady told me i couldn't eat seafood..

..but the same night i had crab, prawns, scallops, abalone, fish, sashimi...

yeah. sorry haa!

and now it's healing very quickly :) no swelling, no redness.. just normal. bit tender to touch but that's expected! so glad i got it done!! but do you know what else i wanna get done..

MY TATTOO!

i am quite an impulsive & reckless person.. so i have to really think this one through. i'm not a big fan of tatts but i LOVE my quotes haha. the problem is finding one that i want on me the rest of my life. i have way too many to choose from T_T

hopefully i'll find time to blog soon.. my family is leaving on the 31st and i'll still be here in singapore waiting for the girls to arrive! :) so so sosoososososososo EXCITED WTF you have no idea how excited i am!! mY GIRLS ARE COMIGN TO SINGAPORE!!1!1!!

Hong Kong 2012 Day One

As I'm sitting here at my grandmother's house in sweltering Singapore.. I just can't even believe that just yesterday morning I was roaming around Hong Kong! The sheer idea that in another part of the world.. Everyone else is living their daily lives, going about their daily routine and customs of their own country -- it just baffles me.

People in Hong Kong will continue standing on the right side of the escalator. They will sleep in their tiny cocoon of a house with stuff stacked to the top of their ceilings. They will constantly be bombarded with bright neon signs hovering just slightly above their heads whilst walking down a typical street. They will get pushed and shoved wherever they go.

It makes me wonder what the people in say, Spain, are doing. Or perhaps even in Mauritius. Or upper Manhattan. Or Albania. Or Tibet. Traveling makes me think about what is happening EVERYWHERE else around the world.. How can anyone die without seeing the rest of the world and experiencing their culture? Our earth is so vast and so beautiful, it'd be a waste not being able to discover all the places that we never think or hear about.

People kept asking why I went to Hong Kong.. And all I can say is - Why not?

It's just a mini holiday within a holiday.. And it was incredible to say the least :)

i've been looking at flights since in perth and they ranged (one way) from about SGD120-180. that's a pretty good price and i nearly bought tickets but i didn't have enough time before i left for singapore so i ended up checking my tickets a few days after i arrived in singapore!

and guess what! tickets were even cheaper!!

from SIN-HK it was SGD90 and then from HK-SIN it was SGD110!

so ridiculously cheap so of course, i snapped it up! i decided to book the same flights as aunty phoebe & her family so i could help bring some of her stuff over to HK (coz they're from HK! yes -- baby chloe speaks cantonese hehehe)! so i upgraded my luggage weight to 25kg there and back and plus taxes, i ended up paying SGD325.77! :)

tiger airways is awesome. i don't get why people complain about tiger.. it's a budget airline, it's nothing fancy like SIA or qantas, and sure it's a lot smaller but you pay for what you get! i am more than happy to fly with tiger for cheap flights!!

GIRLY TIP: at budget terminal departure lounge there is (obviously) duty free that other terminals don't have!! there is a little cosmetics section in the corner with mac, maybelline, l'oreal, revlon, opi etc etc and it's SO. CHEAP. holy chamoly.

i snatched up two revlon lippies for only $7.70 & revlon blusher for $13!

budget terminal arrival hall DOES NOT, i repeat, DOES NOT have this cosmetics section catered to these particular brands.. so if you're flying off somewhere through budget terminal then you should really stop & check out the cheap products before you hop on the plane :)

bumpy clouds..

something really, really, really awesome happened when i was up in the clear skies. first i fell asleep for about 2 hours.. and when i woke up i decided to look outside.. and guess what i saw?

you know how rainbows usually look like a semi circle as it stretches across the sky? well.. i saw a FULL rainbow! and if my memory serves me correctly.. technically this means i found the leprechaun with the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!! :P

i was so excited that i just kept snapping photos! i wonder how many people have seen a full rainbow.. :)

we finally landed after 4 hours or so & chloe got wrapped up in her winter wear.. oh man! how i miss winter. the sweltering singapore heat is unbearable, especially now that i just got back from cool HK. i was told that the weather was really cold! around 14-19 degrees celsius. but it wasn't at alllll it was perfect ohhhmaagawdddd <3

this is what she's like most of the time.. deliriously happy & excited :P

customs took aaaages (around 45 minutes) and we finally emerge out of the airport at 8pm when our plane landed at 5.40pm!!!!!!! the thing about HK's budget terminal is that it's VVVVERY far and takes multiple train rides within the airport to get to your destination whether it's your gate or the immigration counter. so remember next time you fly in or out of HK to give yourself ample time to figure your way around their ginormous airport terminals!

i had arranged to meet up with my cousins in HK as it was their last day in HK before they flew back to singapore the next day! i took the MTR (train) map and with that i found my way around hong kong! my iphone didn't have service so i couldn't call or text and the only wifi that i had was at the airport. but somehow i managed to make my way & find them at mongkok train station :)

since they've been in HK for the past 2 days they pretty much showed me where i should go & even gave me a map that i used religiously throughout my trip :) we checked out argyle centre which is like every girl's shopping heaven!!!! but then we made our way to jordan station to check out temple street & put their shopping away in their hotel at novotel! :)

lili is actually my cousin, and brenda & glynnis' mom is my cousin as well.. so that makes brenda & glynnis like a rank below? which is weird coz we're of similar age yet lili jie is a grown woman with kids! :P

never do i EVER hear someone talking about how pale i am.. usually it's the opposite!! guess that's what happens when you aren't allowed to the beach :( i want my summer tan back *cries*

we left novotel shortly & walked to temple st -- a night market! but tonight, it was a dripping wet night market! hong kong was rainy as hell but still beautiful!

we browsed all the night market stalls that ranged from bags to shoes, to jerseys & umbrellas, to leggings & jewellery etc etc! to be honest i'm more of a night market girl than a departmental store girl. i just love walking around and looking at all the pretty colours & textures! the atmosphere is just as awesome too despite the rain! man nothing can bring me down ahaha

we stopped for dessert at a street side stall :) was yummy!

i ordered what i figured was grass jelly + mango + condensed milk which was defs nommers. but i'm not a big fan of milk so it would've tasted better without the milk :P

HKD$16 = SGD$2.9 = AUD$2 = SO CHEAP

my aunt chose this hot soy bean soup with egg.. it was interesting haha. and the girls ordered tang yuan in ginger soup which was very yummy!! :) it ended up being HKD$64 = SGD$11.6 = AUD$8 for all 4 dessert bowls :)

and that's the end of my first night in hong kong!

i dropped my cousins off at novotel and said bye coz they were flying back to singapore the next morning.. whereas my adventure had only begun :)

everyone was all rugged up but i didn't think it was that cold aha! perth's colder..

walked from their hotel to jordan station and that was so fun!! middle of the night.. hong kong streets.. still crowded with people! :) made my way back to where i was staying (aunty phoebe's house) at tsing yi and fell asleep instantly!

i absolutely love hong kong.. the weather, the busy lifestyle, the lights and DEFINITELY the cantonese! i have a little thing for the cantonese dialect.. everyone who speaks cantonese immediately gets a point from me lol coz it's soo cute! hong kongers/honkies speak so gently and softly and very quickly i almost always want to eat them up haha!! no points for loud and aggressive china people though.. *shakes head*

coming from perth, i get to see the different cultures and lifestyles.. the slow and laid back pace of perth is what makes me appreciate the crazy busy nightlife of places like hong kong and singapore. with that being said i don't think i could ever live in such a fast paced country, so that's why perth will always be home.. but who knows what will happen in the future ;)

trish & i headed out for shopping the other day :) we met at somerset 313 & headed off to wisma to have dimsum nommy! this girl is REALLY asian for a westerner haha.

i wore my new burnt orange chiffon maxi skirt out..

i have to say this is the boldest colour i've purchased/worn and it's rather awesome. i'm slowly.. (keyword: slowly) introducing colour in my wardrobe. i even bought an aqua green dress!!! imagine that :o

but look at my thumb it's peeled off coz it wasn't popped on properly.. and bubbles of air got under the polish & eventually i got annoyed at the bubbles so i peeled the layer of gelish polish off haha.

we were looking for a place to get our eyebrows done and so we went hunting for a decent place! ended up lost at shaw towers & calling my dad for backup :P

and we found a little salon that did nails, eyebrows, eyelashes, massages etc on liang seah st & i got my entire face & eyebrows threaded ($20)! trish only got her eyebrows done ($10) and it was probably the most painful thing i've ever done!!

the whole time i was tearing up and swearing that taking my wisdom teeth out didn't even hurt as bad as threading does -.- and the ladies were harping on about 'WAHH SO HAIRY LIKE MONSTER' omfg i laughed so hard which hurt even more! i ended up with red welts on the sides of my cheeks/jawbone & little welts on my eyebrows.. sigh.

beauty is pain girls, beauty is pain.

but - it is truly awesome now! my skin is brighter and smoother :) and hair free! even better haha. i think i will continue this threading practice until i head back to perth.. i expect it to be a lot more expensive over there *sigh*

and we spent the rest of the night at bugis street continuing our shopping adventure :) i managed to get a black blazer, a cream wooly jumper, a ring, a green dress & leg warmers! the leg warmers i got from tampines pasar malam though :P

i'm looking for a sturdy, excellent quality brown bag like the bag that i am using now! mine's got a broken zip so i really need to get a new one. i'm heading to hong kong this weekend so i hope i can find one there.. but if not i hope i'll be able to get it when i get back from hk :)

i've currently moved from pasir ris to bukit panjang coz chloe & her family (THERE YOU GO DENISE HAHAHA) are arriving TONIGHT! oh man you have no idea how excited i am! and we're putting up at my cousin's place for the next few days :) then it'll be back to pasir ris!

i really wanna do a shopping haul post when i get back from hong kong including the stuff i got here in singapore.. get excited! :)

probz won't blog until then.. but maybe there'll be sweet photos with baby chloe that i JUST have to blog about :P have a good rest of the week guys! x

this blog post is the string that ties up all the loose ends of my trip in singapore thus far :)

we took our cousin priscilla out for a day out awhile ago! one thing that i really miss when i'm in perth is my family.. there's nothing that can compare to being surrounded by family. and i can say this because i don't have the HUGE amount of relatives that i do in singapore in perth. and i'm a people person haha. i do wish i had more relatives in perth sigh.

i hope you remember priscilla! she came to perth last year :)

i have to say, the restaurant is extremely NOT handicapped friendly at all. there were way too many stairs (why so many??) and not a wheelchair ramp or something at sushi tei. i think when i carried priscilla in, the staff was really embarrassed coz of their lack of a handicap friendly surroundings.

after lunch we decided to take a stroll to the park, my there were so many people at east coast park!! and i saw these kids riding this weird device.. wow i wish i had that during my childhood.

it was like a seat with two handles next to the seat and then you pop your feet up front.. like if you were sitting on the floor. and you use the handles on your right & left to steer and move!!!

bit depressing i'd say.. in perth it's so so nice! glistening blue greeny waves, the sun making the water shimmer and the endless horizon! i definitely miss the beach in perth..

then after priscilla said she wanted to get her ears pierced! so we headed off to parkway parade but not before a little drink at starbucks :) we don't have starbucks in perth unfortunately, but i tried the java chip frappe -- wasn't that bad but i prefer muzz buzz's java choc chip frappe more! eek :P

but it was the first time i tried gelish nails and they are so awesome. doesn't chip at all & i got it done just before new years :) and i got a shimmery charcoal on both my hands and feet which was so cute :)

he ended up sitting with us and played with my iphone for the rest of the time there poor kid.

we had dinner with dad's work colleagues & they took us to The Oasis at toa payoh!

please note that i love my sambal kang kong! i also always pipe up at the dinner table if anyone asks 'what veggies tonight?' with 'SAMBAL KANG KONGGGG!' because it's soo good.

sometimes i wish we can all meet up again and be like old times.. every sunday was happy day. we'd play soccer, the parents would hang out, we'd get muddy, then all go for dinner. one time we went to sunway lagoon together and it was awesome (even though i stubbed my toe on the slide and ripped my nail off)!

i had a pretty awesome childhood. it's incredible seeing everyone grown up now. not long till we fall in love with our significant other, get married, have kids & the whole process starts again.

i miss those days.

i really went off tangent there. see what happens when i reminisce old times?! well.. back to earth now gwen. gavin invited me to go out with khai & his gf to timbre!

but before we met them we went chinese new year shopping and couldn't find anything :( then we went to plaza singapura to meet them and watch we bought a zoo!

I CRIED! it was a touching movie and very cute. the little girl in it is omg adorable!!!!!! she may just be the new dakota fanning. dkfjksdjldksjfsdlf why do i love babies so much?

i would tell you where i got it done but it's really just an old hairdressers next to my family doctor when i was young and my hairdresser is a good friend of my mom's - aunty sally <3! there isn't even a name for my perm.. i just said i wanted it loose curls, wavy and that was it :)

ok here's a weird story.

the other night when i was out with gavin, khai & rannessa, we walked into the lift and i looked up.

i spotted a REALLY familiar face. it was the advertisement for plaza singapura and it was a picture of my friend from primary school in perth. it was brittany!

it was a wacoal ad and she was looking SMOKING hot, it was so weird seeing her model ad in singapore. i have her on facebook and i saw the pic before so i guess that's why it was so familiar -- she looked stunning!

and then i walked out of the lift and down to the MRT and BAM! there she was again on the plastered on the wall. it was sooo weird haha. my primary school friend who is MY age in a picture like this in singapore!?!?!

i finally forgot about it until i was getting my hair done at aunty sally's and reading her world december edition and BAMMM!!!! right in my face again! couldn't help but snap a picture for y'all -- girls please envy her legs i know i am and boys, shut your mouth coz there's drool all over your lap ;)

THE FOOD. the fuck it was a huge ass feast fit for a king. i was so sad that my belly was full from frog legs that i couldn't try to aglio olio, the devilled eggs, the mushroom pasta (although i snagged a few bits of mushroomies hehe) and more! i did manage to eat a slice of their strawberry cheesecake slice... so goooood!

i met nichology who was hilarious the entire night! i stuck my hand out to meet him, and he gave me a hug instead haha! hilarious guy :) when everyone else left it was just nic, jess, sam & i and we played taboo with jello shots as penalty. haha i LOVE taboo i need to get it for my brothers when we get back to perth!!

the jello shots were disgustingly strong at first.. then the more i had the more they tasted alright hahaha. and nic kept giving me jello shots that ENDED UP ON MY CHEST. DAFUQ!!!!

singapore has been sweet to me and i've got another month to go :) but tomorrow chloe is coming over & then it's hongkong for the weekend! incredibly excited :)

i've got to go to the doctors tomorrow and then get my front sides of my hair recurled coz they're losing their wave! then on the 12th i'm accompanying jess to an event in town so i think we're going shopping before hand! then dinner with chloe, and on friday we're going to the zoo!!! yay :D

it's been almost a month in singapore (so quick right? i know) and i've picked up a few things..

like for example, for such a fast paced and busy city, people sure walk S.L.O.W.!!

maybe it's me.. but it's not the first time that i've waded through a crowd. but in singapore -- people seriously walk at a snail pace.

there's nothing that frustrates me more than walking behind slow people. and waiting in lines. but in such a small space and shit loads of people, everyone seems to want to waddle and slowly lift one foot off the other. why?

another example, people don't understand me!! and i don't mean the accent, but the aussie slang i guess. there's singlish right? then there's aussie slang. here's an example conversation:

random: *accidentally bumps into me* oh sorry

me: you're alright :)

random: ?

me: .... don't worry *walks away*

random: hi welcome to *insert store*

me: how's it going :)

random: ?

me: ... :) :) :) :) *walks away*

ok to be fair the second example could be due to how fast i say it so it ends up sounding like 'howzit gaaarn' like carl barron does!! but yesterday at TGIF @ the heeren, the waiter was the first person ever to say 'good thanks!' and i was so surprised that i turned around and broke into a huge smile hahaha. looked like a dork, yes thanks i know.

trish is a new face on my blog because she's from australia! she's just moved to singapore a few days ago & she is aqil & my friend from perth :)

went to tampines to meet aqil & had some time to kill (HAHA that rhymed *pops collar*) and i went shopping! honestly, i have not properly shopped in singapore at all. i've been crazy busy visiting rellos, working, going for dinners lunches appointments that i don't have time for myself!

so managed to squeeze in 20 minutes and i bought a pair of new shoes :*)

less than a month in & i've bought 5 shoes already omg. and a new luggage that will store all of these new shoes... hehe :) if you can see from the photos, i wore my new sandals immediately! so those are the ones i bought :)

we waited for trish's friend to come (also from perth haha) to pick us up and they decided to drive to haji lane! but i was knackered by then and skillz & i don't do shisha so it was pretty uneventful. wished aqil & i went to esplanade and had haagen daz instead :P at least i can eat ice cream hehe.

and that was my day yesterday!

first time being out since my teeth, like proper out. coz the other day we went to giant at like 10 at night coz i wanted to get money out from my bank atm that i've only seen at giant haha.

it was only $109! what a steal :) incredibly light, 360 degree wheels, expandable and best of all -- it's green. pretty stoked to bring it to hong kong man, i'm sooo excited for hong kong!

although i'm only there for a few days i'm gonna go shopping, check out the nightlife and go to ocean park! i friggin love theme parks and i haven't been to universal studios here but i will soon prior to hong kong :) you know why...?

wisdom teeth

i can't think of a better way to start off the new year..

..by having my wisdom teeth out!

my wisdom teeth are horizontal! and stuck! so i had to get them out.

yes wtf right wisdom teeth is called WISDOM for a reason right?! they ain't wise at all if they're gonna be growing horizontally -.-

it was a really interesting experience. i have never broken any bones before so never needed surgery or go to the doctors etc. so i felt like i was in an episode of house or something hahaha. but i wasn't too keen on the surgery at first. in fact i was a bit put off by it!

but on the day itself when we reached the national dental centre, something clicked in me and i reaaaally wanted it done! i mean it's new, it's something i've never done before, and almost everyone's gotta do it once in their life. i got told i'd lose weight post op from the lack of solid food too! what's not to look forward to?!

i pretty much got lucky and grew up with a kickass dentist when i was young. never had a problem going to the dentist. in fact i love the dentist! the weird glove smell, the squeaky chair, the yummy taste of the rough toothpaste that they use.

so for the past few days i've been eating porridge and soup and taking shit loads of medicine.. i think post operation is most definitely worse than the surgery itself! although mine took ages.. we ran into some complications due to my SLE, and i had to call my rheumatologist in perth, then decided to take a blood test instead. then waited for the results to come out that i was given the all clear to get my teeth out BEFORE i could even step into my gown, shower cap and shoe gloves. yes i wore shoe gloves.

finally.. the operation room.

i thought that the huge ass needles into my gum would hurt but surprisingly.. they didn't.

just mild discomfort. the room was rather cold though so they got me a hot water bottle, which i held in my hands resting above my belly. (side note: once they covered me with the robe it looked like i had a raging erection hahahaha sigh.. things gwen think about *shakes head*)

pretty awesome staff there at the national dental centre! which reminds me i'm sending the staff there some flowers tomorrow! i have not met a happier bunch of people in my life - all so chirpy and sweet :)

after the needles were in i kept giggling coz my face and lower lip were tingly. then i had my face wrapped in another robe to keep the bright light out.. so basically my mouth was the only thing that was not covered haha. and then BAM!!

i assume that they sliced my gum open first coz my teeth were under my gums. but i didn't feel it at all and i could only guess that was what my doctor was doing before the intense equipment were brought into the picture.

first was the drilling which my doctor referred to it as 'vibration'. vibration is a much nicer and gentler word that you would probably imagine it would sound and feel like a foot massager or the light vibration of your electric toothbrush. but no, it was drilling. like. drilling.

in my head i imagined like a chainsaw thing, and was kinda afraid it would slip and cut my mouth or tongue open and blood would pour out and i'd choke coz i was lying horizontally. but, thankfully, my surgeon and nurse were very, very skilled.

i think it's the psychological aspect that you gotta get past. you can't see the equipment, you can't see anything really.. but you can DEFINITELY hear it. and it sounds scary.

i found myself tensing up with the drill (it was like a loud WHIRRRRRRRRRR SCRAPE SCRAPE SCRAPE) but relaxed when my doctor stopped. it's like i can hear it all, but i can't feel ANYTHING. so i ended up relaxing and starting singing along with the background music in my head.. i think rihanna was playing on the radio or something haha.

then he stopped and said, 'okay gwen.. now you're gonna feel some pressure and.. cracking.'

OKAY. that's new. cracking. wow. okay.

and i pictured a massive dirty plier in my mouth ready to rip the tooth out!

didn't have time to compose myself but you know what? it turned out pretty okay. so really.. it's all in our heads. dirty massive plier didn't help. but yes there was cracking noises and definitely pressure of someone tryna pull out my teeth. but it was tolerable.

and there were times where i felt blood spluttering out onto my lip which proceeded to be cleaned away. grosssssss. and i swallowed some blood i couldn't taste it AT ALL but it tasted salty i guess. i immediately thought of vampire diaries hahaha oh man i love that show.

once they took my tooth out, they had to stitch up the gum that they sliced opened. i could feel the string against my lip which was interesting coz i couldn't feel them stitching me up at all. funny how it works huh?

and the same procedure goes to the other wisdom teeth on the other side of my mouth. took about 30 minutes i guess? i took awhile to rest up coz the doctors wanted to know i'm okay. was incredibly dizzy and knackered post op.. fell asleep several times whilst waiting for instructions with gauze in my mouth. i imagined that i looked like a chipmunk.

BUT it wasn't that bad!!

this is me straight out of surgery, waiting to sign some papers before we get to leave. it was around 4.30 and we had got there at 9.45.. long and tiring day.

and then this is me like around 8pm when i woke up from my sleep! was soo tired and drained, and the numbness was wearing off so i could feel the pain. the pain spread from my jaw towards my temple and across my forehead like a migraine.. oh man. i wanted to cry.

so i quickly took some warm milo and ate my meds then crawled back into bed and complain to deenis on whatsapp how much i wanted to cry hahaha. it wasn't long at all until it kicked in and i fell into sweet slumber after that! :)

the next day -- no pain at all. it was.. normal. except my face was slightly more swollen than the day before. and i couldn't close my mouth without feeling weird. but i could talk normally :) which was great coz straight after surgery i couldn't talk AT ALL.

my dad was teasing me telling me to be quiet coz he didn't understand a single thing i was saying. i wanted to drink water SO bad and i couldn't find my lip so the water went all over my face and down my top. it was hilarious. both my parents and i had a kick laughing at how stupid the lack of feeling in my face was haha.

but all i've eaten is.. porridge. soup. water. milo. repeat.

it sucks coz i can see oreos lying around, macademia nuts, curry puffs, chicken rice, roti prata and homgg all i can sip is effing soup!! #RAAAGE

and today when i woke up i had the worst migraine ever sigh. it lasted all day, and it's my fault coz i stopped taking the painkillers coz i was fine the day before. but noo definitely dosed up on painkillers today. spent all day watching HIMYM and vampire diaries and sleeping and sipping porridge. surprisingly it's more swollen today than the previous two days. weird huh?

but other than that.. i can't wait to be able to get out and eat all the food i want. EVERYTHING.

especially nacho cheese.. oh man that shit is gold i wish perth had it :( and sweet popcorn! oh man fuck yes everyone would so go to the movies and order double the popcorn if we had sweet popcorn there!

dad says i'm stuck at home for a week, coz i gotta get better before i go to hong kong next weekend! ohhh ma god i'm so excited for hong kong!!! :D winter shopping here i come wooo <3

oh speaking of shopping, i did some shopping at toa payoh hub the other night and it was AWESOME! will share my loots soon, gotta focus on work first. few websites to work with and deadline is approaching fast!

2011 was a rollercoaster of emotions, fear and perhaps uncertainty.

but 2011 was also the epitome of strength, family, discovery, friendship & love.

'Though no one can go back & make a brand new start,

anyone can start from now & make a brand new ending.'

last year was pretty shit. i have to be honest.

it got to the point where i cried in the shower until my dad knocked on the door & asked me what was wrong. fatherly figure + gwen's emotional range = embarrassing. and my dad is the strongest person i know, the most hardworking, most positive man that i have ever come across. and i'm soo glad that i have inherited these traits from him.

and from such depths of darkness, i somehow found a light. i found laughter within my friends, and support from my family. i found strength from within myself that i never knew i possessed. i found the urge to fight for my happiness because i know that no one else is gonna fight for it until i do.

i discovered how to make myself happy.

from taking up new classes to picking up a new TV series. or perhaps pampering myself and doing my nails and my hair. even meeting new people who have in turn became the most awesomest group of friends that i can relate and talk to. i made plans, goals, and i kicked their asses. i aim to travel the world and do things that i never could before. i appreciated the little things in life, and also the essence of being an 18 year old.

18 things during my 18th year (not in any order)

1. I started my business Baby Dove Boutique & fell in love with my my godsister Chloe -- she's the driving force behind Baby Dove :*)

2. I started freelance web designing and have been able to work with really kickass people!

3. My granddad passed away -- I miss him and I still can't accept that he's gone.

4. I started university doing a BA in Communications at UWA.

5. I turned EIGHTEEN!!! :)

6. I snipped my hair off.. AGAIN.

7. I went down south for a roadtrip with my relatives from Singapore!

8. My long term relationship ended with my first love.

9. I went to Boombox 2011 and saw Ryan Higa, Andrew Garcia, Jayesslee and Kev Jumbaaaa :D

10. I went clubbing AND got drunk for the first time and I'm never drinking Jagermeister and redbull EVER AGAIN.

11. I moved houses & hosted our first garage sale :)

12. I revamped my room. It looks so swanky.

13. I fell in love with my UK boys -- One Direction <3

14. I took up kickboxing & body pump classes. Swam at 6am 3 times a week. Went for squash. Started going to the gym. Pretty much became a fitness junkie haha.

15. I started driving lessons and got a banged up but functional red car :)

16. I went on an amazing roadtrip with my friends that I will never, ever forget.

17. I got 2 Distinctions and 2 Credits for my first semester at university! :)

18. I ended my year at Asia's biggest beach party -- Siloso Beach Party Countdown!

and that, my friends, is 2011 in 18 dot points!

it's 1st of january 2012.. incredible how time flies past.

but they say that time flies while you're having fun! so the past year must have been a swell journey despite the ups & downs :) i know that 2012 will be EVEN better and i can't wait for it to slowly unravel!

guess what are my plans for 2012?!

15th january will see me jetting off to hong kong for a few days ;)

and when i get back to perth it's roadtrip numero 2! where we are going -- i have no idea yet!

and at the end of the year is when i will be heading for my volunteer cambodia trip - STOKED :D

besides travelling, one of my major goals are to finally get my license and my first car!

a mazda 2 in green, if you're interested ;)

my aim is to raise AUD$5000 for my cambodia trip and i know that i can do it :)

i wanna get chairs and crayons and books for the kids that we'll be teaching there.

i'm going to be seeing ONE DIRECTION sometime in 2012!!!!

their tour dates aren't out yet but it has been said that they're definitely heading to australia.. soo here i come! *hyperventilates*

i'll be aiming for 4 distinctions next semester..

jon made yummy creamy mushroom pasta (a bit different to the one i make.. he uses shiitake mushies), cassaundra & nick brought potato salad with apples (yum!), clara & ben brought a chicken, i brought chips, iman brought cutlery, darren (not pictured) brought drinks and amanda made shephards pie!

was definitely a chilled night :)

ben dropped me home & i discovered he was a radio DJ for 91.3fm but now he's in the army! and he's also a host & will be hosting siloso beach party for NYE :o dafuq right?

here's how the conversation went:

ben: oh.. i'm hosting it.

me: what? *inside: DAFUQ HAHAHAHA*

i looked at my luggage and all i could see was this red skirt poking out of a heap of black items! the only coloured item that i have!! RED!! :) i look so slim in this photo wahhhh

everywhere i go my relatives say, 'WAH GWEN SO FAT AH!'

when i was younger i used to be very hurt by these comments -- i mean who wouldn't! no one wants to be called fat right? then as i grew older.. i realised that chinese people just like to be honest. brutally honest. and especially with family too!

now i just laugh with them and say, 'ya la of course! happy lor eat so much food how can don't get fat?' and then we all laugh. much better than letting things like that get to you :) the girls here are SOOO tiny - they're soo thin that i feel a gust of wind could snap them in half! their arms are like half of mine and let's not even talk about their thighs omg.

but to be honest.. i thought that my appetite would increase here in singapore but it has done just the opposite. i always come to singapore after winter.. and winter is when we all stock up on food in our bellies to keep us warm :P and evidently put on weight hahaha!

i love that every elevator (ok almost every) has a mirror in the elevator!!

what can i say? christmas was spent with family this year & i am so glad that i am able to! we had a lovely quiet christmas bbq dinner at my cousin's new condo and i had the creamiest wagyu beef omg *DROOL*

i'd like to think that my entire trip in singapore is already a gift in itself! i've got more family and work experience here than throughout the whole year. pretty kickass gift if you ask me :)

my aunt lends us her work van whenever we come to singapore :) a very mini van that all 3 of us squeeze in!! lots of memories in this van and lots of sleeping hahaha.

she lives in the same block as my old house which is now rented out.. and this is the picture that i managed to snap: it's my primary school!!!

oh coral primary, how i have missed you <3 so many memories in this school.. i wish that i still keep in close contact with my primary school friends. i highly doubt many of them remember me anymore. but surprisingly my primary 2 or is it 3 teacher still does & i have him on facebook haha. he's a lecturer at NUS now & i'm supposed to meet him for lunch sometime :)

i'm looking for my ex teacher too.. her name is miss soon li li. i managed to track down her old email address from coral's website but she didn't reply my email & from what i have gathered, she's married and is now known as mrs kwok! but can't seem to find her facebook or a working email address :(

went to timbre @ the substation for dinner with the cousins the other night -- daiquiris & martinis yum! was so good to catch up with these girls. it's odd that after our granddad passed away that we all got closer.. things happen for a reason i guess, and when you lose someone you love, your natural instinct is to pull those close to you even tighter. i'm glad that i'm in singapore & i get the opportunity to spend my time with my family <3

we ordered yummy tandoori chicken pizza and the duck pizza -- sooooo good! we ordered way too much for 4 people tho, we definitely could've just ordered one pizza :) buffalo wings were insane as well, and the drinks were splendid :) the only thing that sucked about timbre that night was the rain! omg we couldn't find the place and ended up trudging though the heavy rain around back to stumble upon the small and secluded entrance of timbre..

plus it's an outdoor restaurant and the entire ceiling was like dripping with rain.. and the music kept blowing up and speakers went haywire. so we practically shat ourselves when the speakers blew up various times throughout the night. the rain made it hard for relaxed conversations but as it died down i felt the night went better :)

we were looking for a dessert place & i perked up with 'CHOCOLATE!' (as always) and they suggested for awfully chocolate somewhere in raffles place.. or something.

we decided to take a walk. a long long walk.

i don't really like long walks but this walk was pretty rejuvenating. iunno maybe it was the company, or the pink sky from the rain, or perhaps the unfamiliar city.. but i had such a good walk.

we walked from timbre substation to raffles place haha. walked past city hall station, the supreme court, the tunnel that looks eerily similar to the one in harry potter where the dementors come, the cavenagh bridge, the fullerton hotel, along the singapore river and all the way down to raffles place.

iman's 21st

a friend from awhile back specially organised his birthday celebrations to coincide with when i came back to singapore! i'm very thankful to have met such wonderful people on his special night -- happy 21st birthday iman :)

his party was held at the club hotel, ying yang rooftop bar -- soo swanky! a sleek and very nice bar - atmosphere and view is fantastic :) but before we went to iman's party, melissa took the opportunity to take me to traditional desserts in chinatown!

omg the mango, sago & pomelo was INSANELY good, and the chee cheong fun was just as delicious. i have to come back here again and try the black sesame paste (i love it! my granddad used to love it as well & i learnt to eat it from him) as well as the cantonese dumplings. this place was packed to the brim with people and rightly so :)

mel's new haircut is the shit. only she can pull off cute and quirky hairstyles. i have not met someone who can dye their hair pink, shave 1 side of their head, have an asymmetrical slant bob and now a mushroom bob AND look gorgeous.

i find myself staring at her in the arvo when we're getting ready & getting pissed off that she can pull off such eccentric do's hahaha. then i tell her that i am so jealous then punch my fist into my hand hahaha #LOVEYOUMELLYMOO

since the only person that i knew there was iman and amanda, i had to introduce myself to the people there! shake hands, 'hi, how you going? i'm gwen, nice to meet you!', smiling lots and striking up convos with random people. melissa was a bit shy, so i told her to pretend to be confident even if you're not, always works a charm :)

so she started smiling at everyone, introducing herself etc - was pretty proud of her!

THEN -- omg haha, we were sitting on some bar stools and this man walked past us and so mel smiled at him directly, then he walked past again and she smiled AGAIN and he stopped in front of us.

and the conversation went into a full blown convo about his life in canada, his wife divorced him but has kids so stayed in canada for 30 years and how he's a claustrophobic and can't scuba dive but his friend who pays EVERYTHING for him is a scuba diver that goes like a mile underwater but tries to convince us he's not gay (i've heard of this occupation, and it's extremely dangerous. imagine being underwater in depths beyond comprehensible wahhh! that scares me..) ANYWAY

it was the most random and hilarious conversation that we were both DYING to get out of, and thank god amanda came and saved us hahaha THANK YOU AMANDA

soon we left for attica -- my first time clubbing in singapore! melissa's first time clubbing ever!

when we drove into clarke quay i saw this extreme ride thing where you get shot up in the ball into the sky AND I WANT TO DO IT SO BAD! someone who's not gonna up chuck come do it with me haha :o)

weddings & relationships

i am a huge fan of weddings.. although i have never been to a wedding besides a chinese one. i wanna experience all types of weddings -- australian, greek, polish, indian, american, malay, italian and the list goes on and on!

in chinese tradition, weddings often involve a tea drinking/offering ceremony where the bride & groom have to kneel & serve tea to their parents. it's a sign of respect and a way of saying, 'thank you for bringing me up, here i am now getting married -- all thanks to you.' in return the parents will accept & drink the tea and give their blessing by offering a red packet that symbolizes good luck! some ceremonies the bride & groom have to serve tea to the older brothers & sisters of the families too!

to be honest.. i have a thing about weddings.

i love weddings. the epitome of true love, the one day where its supposedly the bride & groom's 'best day of their lives'. all your friends and family are there to watch you exchange vows and rings to the love of your life.. two souls becoming one.

i'm a bit of a traditional romantic kind of girl.. and it dawned on me that i can't be with someone unless there is a definite future between us. is that selfish of me? i mean i don't want to be with someone to just muck around and share a bond that will only be broken in the end. i don't want to put my time and effort into one person to have it dissolved at the end of the relationship.

i think i watched too much disney when i was younger.. fairy tale relationships are what i look for - the magic, the spark, the overcoming of obstacles big or small, the boy chasing the girl and falling deeply in love to end up married happily ever after.

haha but right now i am more than happy to focus on myself. singlehood is really not as bad as many people seem to portray. it irks me when i see/hear/read about people who are constantly upset or down because they don't have a partner. you know, like 'i need a boyfriend, i need cuddles, i want someone so bad, i'm only happy with you' etc etc. *shudders*

happiness comes from within! can't even express this enough.. you need to be happy and in love with who you are and what you can offer to the world before someone can be happy and be in love with you. if you don't love yourself then who would?

i am insanely positive that there is a soulmate out there for everyone. sometimes you don't even need to seek and you will find them right in front of you. sometimes you need to search within yourself before the person you are looking for will be revealed.

you are what you attract.. the law of attraction is epic in this sense.

travel-lators are sooooo cool, so much respect changi airport.

duty free is INSANE. 1L of absolut vodka = $23!!!! 1L of smirnoff = $15.50!!!!!

totally blew me away haha.

it may not look appetizing..

but it has so much more flavour and kick than spencer village food *happy sigh*

yes i have arrived and it's been sooo fantastic so far! the first meal i had was sliced fish noodle soup... omg. my tastebuds have gone into a food coma. i washed it down with iced milo. oh my god. nothing can bring back my tastebuds for sure now!

why is food so heavenly in singapore? even the cheap hawker meals kick aussie food in the ass so badly. nothing can compare to the food in singapore.. nothing. darryl & i wolfed down our meal in sheer silence then high fived when we washed it down with iced milo. it was SO good.

today was pretty much just getting darryl's soccer stuff sorted. he's here for his soccer tournament that will take place on saturday morning! the rest of his team is flying in tonight at 3am and then they're heading to sentosa island for the day :)

right now i'm at melissa's house, and i'm sooo effing tired i don't think i'm gonna watch another episode of vampire diaries at all. going straight to sleep coz i'm knackered! tomorrow we're going to the gym at the new pasir ris sport centre that took over pasir ris park, gonna go for a run and a swim in the warm arvo then head out for dinner somewhere with melly moo :) did you know it only cost a dollar fifty to enter the gym here!!?!?!? fucken hell i paid 15 bucks at bailey's gym once to run for 45 minutes in australia FUUUUUUUUUU!!!

we had dinner at jalan besar food court and a plate of char kway teow was $3.50 and i couldn't even finish it haha. it's weird that i am in singapore. so so weird. and yesterday i was in perth. i'm gonna be here for the next two months so.. if anyone has any suggestions on anywhere i should check out then leave a comment below -- thanks in advance! :)

but we left after a bit :) to the court hotel!! it's a gay & lesbian bar that i have visited before and is aaaawesome! good music, amazing atmosphere, fun fun fun!

so i'd just like to say that ALL my friends except kirsten & i have got their license.....

i've been incredibly busy after exams so i didn't get time to book my test and i'm so gutted that i'm gonna have to do it next year! which means i won't get my proper license and P plates near end of next year sigh.. but at least all my friends have got theirs so that means they can just drive me around hehehe :P

i think it all began on the comfy couch at tristan's place for our BBQ & drinks night..

then a little research by vivien & i, we found a fantastic place that was affordable and absolutely beautiful! it's quite common to rent out holiday homes in perth and we found our place through stayz.com.au! you can even check out the link for our fairway retreat :)

we were sold! it looks so modern & kickass that we just couldn't wait :)

the rate for us was $310 for 8 people, so we paid $620 for the friday & saturday night! that worked out to be about 75 bucks for each other us -- what a steal!!

after we paid for the house, we had exams to conquer.. so the build up of our road trip was growing by the day haha. and when it finally came it was surreal! i don't think it hit me until we were ACTUALLY in the house!!! AHHH!!!!

first we went food shopping the night before we left and that was ridiculously fun haha! can you imagine 7 people (triddy couldn't make it coz he lives in woop woop) trying to buy food for the weekend?! lucky vivien & i created a menu for the weekend & subsequently we knew the grocery list :) we each popped 50 bucks to the pool of cash for our food, and then we ended up racking up a bill of $325.30!

we bought loads of meat for our bbq, pasta, ice cream, fuck loads of fruit, mushrooms, corn, cucumber blah blah etc etc! SOOOO MUCH FOOD! thank you to shekin for her 5% discount for coles 8) we saved $50.16! in the end we had left over money from our pool of $50 each so we decided to share that by buying a bottle of tequila :)

OMG! gotta blog about something scary.. we were outside coles and standing in front of a bench sorting out what we were gonna do after our food shopping & i felt someone touch my arm? and i was like wtf why is shekin (who was technically behind me) touching me? so i turned around and there wasn't anyone.. and i looked at my arm and the hairs were raised and skldjfksjdfksjd! i was like O_O O_ O O_O O_O WHAT THE FUCKERY! and i jumped back to denise and i told her skfjsdfhs. it was literally like a hand on the back of my arm, all warm and stuff. so weird :/

ANYWAY when i got home.. i took ages to pack coz i had to do my washing as well. so annoying. didn't end up sleeping till 2 and we had to be up by 6.30! kirwin called me at 6.30 -- thanks kirwinatorrr! :)

AND WE WERE OFFFFF!

we left at about 8ish and our first stop was cockburn maccas for our breakfast :) then we were off.. hehehe! we went there in 2 cars (triddy had work so he drove to dunsborough by himself after work!) and me, denise, vivien & tyrone were in one car. kirwin, harry & shekin were in the other :)

the best part about a road trip is the different types of scenery that you go past.. so beautiful. sometimes you see nothing but the endless sky, sometimes if you're lucky you get to spot a few animals. sometimes grape vines or even plain fields with balls of hay.
it's always something different and refreshing. one thing i love about australia is its vastness. i like that feeling of freedom, it's a feeling that i don't get to experience when i'm in singapore. the vastness of the country and the ever expanding horizon is something i guess i connect with -- the freedom, the independence and the opportunity!

and finally after 3 hours (quite a short drive actually) and a few pitstops here & there.. we arrived at our beautiful place in dunsborough lakes :) when we drove in it was like wow.. what a freaking nice estate. like an upperclass estate! actually we were all pretty stunned about the location & price that we paid for our place :) even more stunned when we went into the house!!!

PASTA BAKEEEE

okay so i had a few formspring Q's about the recipe for the pasta bake! here we go :)

makes 2 large trays and feeds WAY more than 8 people!

2 large packets of pasta - any type; we had the bowtie pastas or you can go with spirals

3 bottles of sauce (very saucy, could probably got for 2 & a half to make it just right)

we went for dolmio tomato and cheese pasta bake sauce :)

some sort of meat - we went for 2 chicken drumsticks and about 20 meatballs,

you can substitute for bacon bits as well

cheese - 1 whole packet of cheese :)

onions - 1 bulb of onion, sliced

mushrooms - SHITLOADS

preheat the oven to 200 degrees celcius!

first bring a large pot of water to boil, and add both pasta packets in and pop a lid on it! let it boil and constantly check on it to see if it's cooked.

fry your onions and mushrooms together till brown. put this aside

cook your meat! so pan fry your meatballs with a lil bit of oil till brown or fry your chicken or bacon whatever it is -- pretty straight forward. put this aside as well!

drain your pasta and pop it into 2 aluminium foil containers like the ones we had them in!

wash your pasta pot and dry it.

then add half a bottle of dolmio sauce, then add half then cooked pasta from the foil container, then add the rest of the pasta sauce etc etc.

fold your pasta and sauce in, add all your meats/onions/mushrooms etc and fold it in.

by now you should have a massive pot of pasta filled with all your pasta and sauce and stirred nicely :) this is done over a medium flame!

scoop 1 layer of pasta into your foil, cover with cheese, then add more pasta then add layer of cheese.

do about 3 layers then move onto the next foil container :)

make sure to literally cover the top with shitloads of cheese like shown in the pictures below!

pop it into the oven for about 20 minutes or until brown then serve while hot! yummo!

we settled down and tucked into the hot and ridiculously cheesy pasta bake omggg i want to eat it now! it was soo good especially coz we were all starving! after destroying the pasta bake we sat around and decided to begin the fun.. hehehe

after lunch & tequila shots we decided to hit the beach! it was ~3pm so we decided to suss our way to the beach.. on google maps it just said it was across the golf course & across the road. so off we went on a little adventure! :D

we went into the water and found SHIT loads of starfishes.. and the boys fell in love with them and gave the starfishes names 'patrick' and 'grandpa' haha. swear the starfishes were mating or something we always found them on top of each other - hell awkies hahaha!

it hit 6 so we decided to head back home, have a nice shower and chill! denise & i ended up in the bathtub with bubbles having amazing d&ms talking about everything & nothing!

did you guys know that 1 in 10 girls have inverted nipples?! no i didn't know that haha i didn't even know that was possible! yes so that's one of the various things we talked about in the tub haha.

but soon it's time for dinner mmm! and since we girls made lunch the boys are making dinner!

i have to admit i got a bit drunk.. got too excited with the tequila!!

i really enjoy drinking with friends at a house or something, but not clubbing? i think it's coz i hate feeling like i have no control and with a club it's not as safe as it is to drink with friends in a closed and safe environment.

i never buy drinks at clubs or drink at clubs really! i think after this road trip i will never hit a club up ever again -- i spent less money on this whole weekend than if i went out clubbing!

they did it anyway -- with TOMATO SAUCE hahahaha!

the next morning i woke up at 5.30am (YES I KNOW WTF) feeling incredibly energized and started to clean the whole house. and i mean the WHOLE house! i popped the dishwasher on, swept the whole house, cleaned all the tables, put away all the towels and even replaced the towels that harry slept with with my red blanket haha aw!

triddy ended up waking up at 6 as well and we spent the morning drinking green tea and playing cards whilst everyone was still asleep haha. then we decided to have a cook off!!! who made better eggs :P clearly i am the winner haha sorry trids :)

so she crept into tyrone's room and then emptied the tube of toothpaste all over his back hahaha! tristan & tyrone did it to vivien as well! omg they got us good! the toothpaste friggin dried out my skin though sigh! and it got ALL over my suede pillow case *cries*

as we left dunsborough the weather started acting up.. can you believe it! throughout our weekend was sunny skies and warmth, as soon as we leave the place starts drizzling with rain! talk about good timing :)

we drove for a bit before deciding to stop for lunch at a cute cafe in bunbury called cafe bean!

quite a fantastic little cafe, we had amazing breakfast here :) the town of bunbury all decorated with christmas decorations it's cute :P

i came home and plonked myself onto my very own bed & fell into a deep, deep sleep haha. was so shattered after the road trip! but so so so worth it. all of us had so much fun on the road trip that we are already planning our second one before uni starts next year! :)

i cannot even begin to put to words how amazing my weekend was.

i can only wish that everyone will experience great friends, food and fun at least once in their life! but once is not enough for me.. and already we are planning the next road trip :)

would love to blog about it right now but i am just SO knackered.

so thankful for the new lifelong friends i have made, and i'm gonna truly miss them when i go to singapore (IN 8 DAYS WTF!!!!)!

so i'm off to bed to watch some cheesy romantic movie & fall asleep, good night world :)
